But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I, ......................................................................................................... doo hereby reject the above Scripture and denie God, Jesus Christ and all religion. I cursse, blaspheme, and provoke the Holy Trinity with all despite. I give my faith to the Devil, and my worship, and offer sacrifice unto him. I sweare by the Devil and doo solemnelie vow, and promise, all whom I hold deare unto him. Deare one: I, ............................................................................................ Satan, Beelzebub and Leviathan, thou foul and Unholy Trinity, I will always sweare by you. I doo hereby sacrifice my soul, my self and my companion unto thee, to doo as thou wilt. As soon as thou wilt. Signed to-day: I, ........................................................................................ Note: Two solicitors have validated this document, although one Australian Sceptics member who refused to sign it described it as "meaningless". In defence it can be argued that, being "meaningless", the sceptic should have even more reason to sign it. Another point raised concerned one claim that the signatory "derives nothing from the contract, thereby rendering it worthless". To this it can be argued that, in signing the contract, the sceptic retains the credibility, reputation or pride he or she values so much. After all, there is nothing a sceptic values more than to be seen to be a sound, "rational" thinker. To not sign this contract would mean the sceptic, regardless of their defence, believes more than he or she is willing to let on. And to a sceptic, of course, that would be "irrational." ... NEWS |
